This issue of Oddballs is creature-heavy. I can count on my fingers at least six creatures, but that’s simply because I only have six fingers total.

I was scrolling through social media the other day and I saw a video of a woman’s hand that had six fingers. Six fingers on one human hand! Imagine the amount of creatures she could count! (Spoiler: it’s 12.)

Have you ever asked yourself, “What is a creature?” I haven’t until now. But I guess the answer would be, “A creature is any sort of multi-cellular living thing that is not a plant.” Viruses aren’t living or else I’d categorize them as creatures, horrible ones at that!

There is beauty in all creatures. Well, except for my nemesis Rooder. He’s unfathomably ugly inside and out! And I know fathoms!

Take some time this month to dwell on creatures. I recommend about three minutes. That’s about as long as the song “I’m In Love With A Creature.”
