As much as Oddballs is hand-drawn, this one is an AI extravaganza! Here’s what into it:
- I wrote the gag on a piece of paper with some initial sketches
- Onto Midjourney where I created the images of the band and the dancing bugs
- From there, I imported the images into Canva and used their stock images to create the background, the record (with glow) along with the shine, and the Polaroid frames
- I did some graphic design to include the text and coupon
- Onto Suno to create the songs; music and lyrics
I fed Suno the title, genre, and specifics of each song. It took several attempts with each title to get a satisfactory song. Perhaps this is a log of work for a feature, but it was so much fun and I learned a lot along the way. And that’s what passion is all about!
