Normally, I write “I Like You!” on the back, stick on the mailing label and a stamp, and send it off. However, I received some feedback that the phrase “I Like You!” could be misconstrued to indicate that I had a romantic interest in the postcard’s recipient. Noted.

To seem less creepy, I purchased a set of stamps with different phrases. I like stamps anyway, so it seemed like a natural fit. I like the idea that, if I need help later on, I can rely on someone stamping each postcard instead of me having to write on each one. It’s not a big deal when there’s only a handful of postcards, but when I got past 100 each month, it started to be laborious to write everything out – hence the mailing label and the stamp. I also have a return address self-inking stamp.

Here’s what the stamp looks like:

It kinda has a retro feel to the whole thing. I like that; may play with that a bit.
